Hair today, gone tomorrow...

After thinking ragamuffin was probably not the most endearing nickname, we decided that is was time for Brooklyn's first hair cut. She has very fine hair which would break off anytime I would put it in pig tails, leaving uneven and scraggly looking locks. So today we ventured to our favorite hair dresser.


Brooklyn was not overly thrilled with her new experience. Good thing mom brought reinforcements. Here is our before picture.

Snip, snip, snip. After bringing out the jelly beans Brooklyn didn't mind the hair cut at all. She sat very still and did a great job. The hardest part was not being able to eat the jelly beans and smile for the camera at the same time. She tried hard though. The following pictures are a result of this.

I forgot to take a before picture of the back of her head but here is the after picture. She cut off about 1.5 inches. We are hoping it will fill in more evenly now.

All done but still eating.
