Happy Birthday Pinkalicious!!

We can't believe Brooklyn turned 3! Today was her special day and it was all about PINK! One of Brooklyn's favorite books is Pinkalicious (a must read for any young girl). So naturally when I asked her what kind of party she wanted for her birthday she said, "I want pink, mommy, pink, pink, pink." So here it is... prepare for pink overload!!!

If you know me at all, you know I like to throw a good party.  So I might have gone a little overboard with the pink, but it was a hit with all the party goers and Brooklyn was thrilled.  Here are a few of the decoration highlights.  The pink cupcakes are copycats from the book and the Pinkalicious printables I got HERE.

The girls decorated their pink crowns with beautiful jewels and our token boy (we love you Weston) had his blue visor to deck out.

Of course we read the book.  The kids ate it up.  I love reading to young children. Hey who's pink toes are those?

We had a few extra minutes for some impromptu games.  I pulled out and modified some old classics from when I was a kid.  Drop the pink marshmallow (you may remember it as a clothes pin) in the jar and Scoop the cotton balls (or in our case marshmallows) out of the bowl.  The kids loved it.  For some it was the highlight.

Present Time!  Brooklyn was so cute and happy opening her gifts.  Thank you to all who made her day so special.  She loves everything!
Our little shy girl came out during the traditional Happy Birthday song.  She was very cute but hid her eyes and didn't want to blow out her candles.  Thanks for the help Elin and Kate!

Finally we brought out the jump house so that the pinklets could jump off all the sugar they had just eaten.  They had a ball and it was so fun to watch them run and jump.

I couldn't resist adding this picture of Camille and Caitlin.  They were so cute together, especially in their PINK!

Brooklyn, Happy Birthday sweet girl.  You are so fun to watch learn and grow and your smile is so infectious.  We love you so much! Here are some of your favorites we want to remember when you turned 3!
