I can't believe Brooklyn in already 1 month old. Time really does fly by. Brooklyn is doing really well. She is our happy, little dream baby. I am grateful to report that for 5 out of the last 6 nights she has slept for at least a 6 hour stretch. Keep it up little girl!

Okay, now for a little Aiden update and to ask some advice. For a while now Aiden has had a habit of pulling his hair out. If you look closely under his crazy cowlick he has pulled out the front two inches of his hair line. We thought he had stopped this habit as the hair is growing back and he was telling us that he wasn't doing it anymore. However, this week while I was changing his sheets, I noticed clumps of hair in his bed. I asked him if he was pulling his hair out again and he told me "just a little bit." Then I caught him in the act. Instead of pulling the hair in front out now, he was targeting the back. He would wrap the hair around his finger and pull out the whole clump. After I got over the initial shock, I realized if this continues I he would be bald by Friday. We had to act fast so I turned to the internet. Big Mistake, the internet of course gave me the worse case scenario. However, I did find on a baby site that this can be common and most kids grow out of it. The solution, cut their hair short and if needed put oil in it so they can't grab onto it to, to pull it out. Last night was hair cutting night. We braved the cut ourselves. Shae did a fabulous job, after we figured out our clippers were worthless and borrowed some from a neighbor. Thanks Kayde and Casey! So if any of you out there have experienced anything similiar and have some more advice for us we would appreciate it.
Aiden love to help us bake and always asks us to take a picture of him licking the beater. This is also his hair before we cut it.
Daddy working his magic with the clippers! This kid has a thick head of hair.
All finished. Aiden likes his new "short" haircut.
This picture doesn't do the bald spot justice but gives a little idea of where he was pulling it out.

Adorable pictures of your little girl! I can't believe she is one.
Nice new haircut for Aiden. I don't know what to tell you about pulling out the hair. Cutting it short so he can't pull it sounded like a good idea. I think every kid has a little quirk. My son Hyrum eats dirt.
Ben started to pull his hair out last summer. We kept it super short for a few months and he stopped (but he started biting his nails). They all have something. Good to hear that Brooklyn is doing so well. We miss you.
That is funny (abt aiden's hair)-only because it's not my child doing that of course! Brooklyn looks so much like Aiden! She is adorable. Shae has to check out the fish Justin caught(it's on the blog) this is his first catch since leaving Grants Pass (did he catch any there?) Well, we at least got to eat this one!! Hope you guys are adjusting-sounds like the nights are going better!!
Hi Beth and Shae:
Thanks for the update. Brooklyn and Aiden are so so cute. And you are so fortunate that Brooklyn is a sleeper too! We miss you and hope you will come and visit us in SB soon.
Say hi to Aiden and Brooklyn for us!
Love,
Brenda/Nonnie
What a dream Brooklyn is...already giving you 6 hours. Way to go little gal. I love Aiden's haircut...keep me posted on what you do so that if/when Ethan decides to pull his red locks I'll know the magic trick! :) Love to all!
Yeah! It turned out great. Brooklyn is adorable and Ellie is still telling me that she wants a Baby Sister named Brooklyn, next.
Brooklyn is beautiful! Simon can't wait to meet her and see Aiden of course too:)
