We celebrated Shae's 34th birthday on one of our many trips to Reno. The weeks leading up to our trip were very hectic and I think he was beginning to think I had forgotten about his birthday. However, unknown to him I had a few surprises up my sleeve.
Shae was very surprised when he opened his "big gift," a radio controlled airplane. He was so excited, as was Aiden. They had to put it together right away.
Unfortunately the plane had to charge so he couldn't fly it right away. But about three hours later we met our friends Alyssa, Brandon and Simon at the park for some high flying fun. Alyssa to have given Brandon the same r/c plane about a year earlier. Here is Shae and Aiden watching the first flight in action!

We didn't happen to catch the second flight on camera but a gust of wind picked up mid-flight and the plane got away from Shae, flying over a busy road, a row of houses and crashes in the streets of the neighborhood. Unfortunately the plane had a little damage, thus ending our enjoyment for the afternoon.
Overall though it was a great birthday.
