Head Trauma...

Well, we are actually surprised that it took more than 2 years for Aiden to split his head open, but he finally did it. There were no witnesses to the accident so we don't know how it happened. All we know is that he collided with the fireplace hearth that resulted in a one inch cut right on his the eyebrow. After a frantic call to Daddy to make sure we didn't need the emergency room, it only took about 30-40 minutes, 2 jelly beans and a special treat coming from Miss Erica to calm him down and let me even talk about putting a bandaid on it. However, by the time our friends arrived to help (I really thought we would have to hold him down), he was in a great mood and let me close the gap with 2 butterfly bandaids. Then we had to put the oh so stylish orange bandaid on to keep the germs out until Daddy could come home and fix it with his "magic medicine." Aiden with his butterfly bandaids ready for daddy to use the magic medicine (Durabond, basically super glue for the skin) on his cut.

Here is a video of Aiden right before we put on the medicine. I couldn't get the after video to load. I will have to take an after shot tomorrow. The cut is healing nicely and we are hoping for no scar, especially since Shae is banking Aiden's modeling career getting us through retirement.

Oh Bummer. I hope Aiden feels better. And good job, Beth, in saving the day!

Glad he's okay - my favorite part, though, is when he says "please" when he asks to open the medicine. :)

So sad to see him hurt, but glad he didn’t need stitches.
