New Milestones...

We have had some big things happen in our home the last couple of days! Yesterday, Brooklyn had her first try at rice cereal. We were a little skeptical because she doesn't like to take medicine and she refuses to take a bottle (any suggestions would be welcomed). However, she did pretty well with a spoon for her first try. We have also included a video from Aiden's first feeding. We learned with him not to give the spoon to Brooklyn yet. She also accomplished rolling from her back to her belly. I can't believe how fast time is going by, she is almost 5 months old. We are so proud of her.

After watching these two videos I can't believe how much my children really have come from the same mold. Except for the pink that Brooklyn is wearing and the blue Aiden is in, it would be hard to tell them apart.

Brooklyn's rolling over progression. She is so funny to watch roll over. She does really well until she gets to her belly and her arm gets stuck underneath her. Then she gets upset. I am sure there will be more to come.

In other big news Aiden has graduated from nursery to primary at church. He is now a Sunbeam and goes to his own class. Getting him to go willingly by himself will be a little challenging. We had about a three hour discussion this morning about how he didn't want to go to primary or be a sunbeam, even though all his friends would be there. We are very proud of him, he did go and he even says he had a good time. (Of course Shae and I were practically holding his hand the whole time). Hopefully next week just "checking on him" will suffice. Here he is with his church bag and his "I am a child of God" crown he made today.

I had to put this video clip up because it is hilarious. Let me preface it with the fact that Aiden went to the refrigerator and pulled out the bottle of lemon juice. Then he brought it to me and asked for some. I told him three or four times that he wouldn't like it and we don't drink lemon juice, but he insisted. So, I naturally pulled out the camera and let him figure it out himself. It didn't dawn on me until after this was taken that he probably thought it was going to be lemonade.
